Silver Clay Charms

with The Temerity

$98

Make a valentine that will last! This workshop is a chance to show your love to your sweetie, and to our beautiful city at the same time. 25% of ticket sales will be donated to an under-funded Go Fund Me for relief from the Eaton Fire.

In this class, we will explore the quixotic medium of silver clay to create custom charms + jewelry.  Silver clay behaves similarly to earthen clay, and can be shaped and molded by hand or pressed into molds.  In this class, use hand forming techniques and shape cutters to create unique charms!  Once our creations are dried, they will be torch fired, revealing the pure .999 silver within.

The second portion of the class will focus on polishing, filing, and placing jump rings.  Students will have the chance to use a variety of jewelry making tools, and create a small collection of pure silver charms.  Sterling silver findings will be provided.

Each student will recieve 5 grams of clay with their workshop fee.  Additional clay can be purchased in the studio for $5/gram.

Our Policies:

  • Please try to arrive 5-10 minutes early for your workshop. Workshops start on time. If you are more that 15 minutes late for your class, you may forfeit your chance to take the class.

  • You may cancel for a refund up to 21 days before the workshop. After that, workshop fees are not refundable.

  • We reserve the right cancel or reschedule a workshop with fewer than 4 sign ups. If you cannot attend the rescheduled date, you will receive a refund.

  • Please note that we may take photos during the workshop to use on social media. If you do wish to be photographed, please let the teacher know when you arrive.

  • If you are sick, please stay home. Call or email to let us know that you are not coming. You will receive a credit for a future class.

  • Last minute cancellations are extremely challenging for our guest teachers. Often times, materials have been meticulously prepared ahead of time. Keep in mind that late cancellations are a financial burned on these very special artists.
