Transform early morning hike views, afternoon beach strolls, and iconic LA landmarks into a work of art in this impressionist landscape painting series! Students will learn atmospheric perspective rules as well as color theory, composition and value. We will look at famous works by Monet, Renoir, Seurat, and Manet, and apply their impressionist techniques to our canvas. Students will work from a different landscape photo each week provided by the instructor. Let loose and have fun with color in this imaginative series!

A foodie at heart, combined with her love of color, Jordan Jimenez developed her strength as an artist through expressive studies of still life's, florals, and portraits. She is best known for her vibrant still life's subjects of desserts and flowers. Jordan continues to study under California landscape Painter, Ann Bridges, and teaches art to children and adults in the greater LA area. Her work has been exhibited in group galleries across Los Angeles and Long Beach. Jordan spends her time painting, writing, and cooking what she found that week at the farmer's market.
