Add a personal touch to your holiday decor and gifts by learning the art of mosaics and creating two beautiful mosaic ornaments!
Kristie of K Boom Mosaics will guide you through her unique style of mosaic art to create two stunning ornaments. Throughout the workshop, you'll learn techniques of mosaic making, including selecting and cutting materials, designing, applying adhesive, and grouting. You'll work with a multitude of beautiful colors in mirror, stained glass, ceramic, and Moroccan tiles. You’ll be provided a choice of ornament ribbon and color pigment for your grout.
Mosaics is a process where we have to wait 24 hours for the glue to dry before grouting. As a result you will be given a demonstration on how to grout your ornaments and be provided a take home grout kit. We will also provide a link to the grout demonstration video. If you prefer Kristie to grout the ornaments for you, she is happy to do so. Please allow a 3 day turn around for completion.
This workshop is suitable for beginners to intermediate participants with no prior experience necessary. All the necessary materials and tools will be provided.
Our Policies:
Please arrive 10 minutes early for your workshop. Workshops start on time. If you are more that 15 minutes late for your class, you may forfeit your chance to take the class.
You may cancel for a refund up to 21 days before the workshop. After that, workshop fees are not refundable or transferable.
We reserve the right cancel or reschedule a workshop with fewer than 4 sign ups. If you cannot attend the rescheduled date, you will receive a refund.
Please note that we may take photos during the workshop to use on social media. If you do wish to be photographed, please let the teacher know when you arrive.
If you are sick, please stay home. Call or email to let us know that you are not coming.
Last minute cancellations are extremely challenging for our guest teachers. Often times, materials have been purchased and meticulously prepared ahead of time. Keep in mind that late cancellations are a financial burden on these very special artists.

Her creations are inspired by elements of nature, art, and color, and come to life as mosaics on garden planters, stepping stones, ceramic coasters, and other mosaic surfaces.
