Brush Lettering

with Emmanuel Sevilla

$150

Brush pens are a fun and great way to step into the exciting craft of hand lettering. Learn the fundamental techniques of lettering with a brush pen to explore a variety of hand styles such as sign painter casual, script, and monoline gothic. In this workshop you will learn the pressure and release method to create thick and thin strokes, learn to look at letters as an interlocking harmonious system, and focus on techniques that generate effective results.

We will also integrate color and decorative embellishments such as shadows and blends to create hand-lettered works on paper.

All materials included
